Falling in Love with the Present Moment...

Fund-Raising Workshops in The Work of Byron Katie

Hosted by Daniel Abbott, RYT, CPT NFPT (www.TheCenterForLettingGo.com and www.OpenAsAllYoga.com)

“Life changing and Transformational!...my children thank you, my husband thanks you and I am forever grateful!! After attending one of Dan’s workshops, I knew that inquiry was a practice I needed to explore. I was able to find the clarity and balance I longed for. And the most rewarding gift of all is the confidence to welcome whatever curveball comes your way…even those in the form of tweenagers and prepubescence.”
GN, Rumson

An article has been written about these workshops in The Rumson-Fair Haven Patch. Please check it out!

Join Yoga Instructor Daniel Abbott (www.openasallyoga.com) for a  life-elevating meditative experience of one of the most direct and ground-breaking methods for Self-Realization...The Work of Byron Katie.

The Work of Byron Katie is a simple and powerful form of Self-Inquiry that teaches you to identify and question thoughts that bring on stress. People who practice The Work on a regular basis commonly report the alleviation of depression, reduced anger, more peace, more creativity, and improved relationships. For something of a "video testimonial" for this Work, go here.

The suggested donation for this workshop is $25, and all of the proceeds for this workshop go to one of two charitable organization:

180, Turning Lives Around; a non-profit organization that serves men, women, and children who have experienced domestic and/or sexual violence.

And

The Live the 7 Foundation; a non-profit organization that helps underprivileged children develop physical and mental well-being as a preventative measure against obesity, substance abuse, alcohol use, bullying, and general delinquency.

 The Workshop format

1) Dan invites everyone to fill out a worksheet that captures stressful thoughts

2) Dan facilitates the four questions and turnaround of The Work with a volunteer, effectively demonstrating a healing dialogue one can have with oneself, anytime one feels stress

3) While this dialogue occurs between Dan and the volunteer, all other attendees are invited to find where they relate to the volunteer and do their own Work, internally

4) Feedback, Questions, and Comments for Dan and the Volunteer

5) Either one of two things can happen here, depending on what people would like...either we repeat the above steps with a different volunteer, or Dan invites everyone to break off into groups where one person plays the role of the facilitated and the other plays the role of the facilitator, so everyone can experience The Work more directly (and privately)

6) Feedback and Questions for Dan

7) All attendees leave with an information/resource pack.
